Labor Day

For Labor Day weekend we took our first road trip with Parker to my parent's cabin in Joes Valley. Parker did great on the drive. All but one of my siblings were there with their families. My Grandparents also came up and my Aunt Kaye and her family were at their cabin. We had a great time visiting, enjoying the outdoors and playing games. Parker eventually got used to all the kids running around, at first I don't think he knew what to make of it. His cousin Nathan tried to find his "tickle spot", his cousin Emma crawled over to visit and his cousin Maya took a few opportunities to sit in his bouncer. We also celebrated Nathan's 7th birthday (I swear it was just yesterday we were celebrating his first birthday at the cabin).

Brooks got to ride his dirt bike, and the first day he ran out of gas on the way back and had to hitch a ride from a nice couple. He also went out on Labor day with his friend Mike, it rained pretty good the night before, so they came back with a few extra pounds of mud, but had a great time.

I took the opportunity to take a picture of Parker with his little cousins. Emma (on his left) was born a month before and Belle (on his right) the month after, so Parker is right in the middle. It was fun to spend time with everyone (although we all missed Mom and Dad) and reminisce.
