Today is Parker's 1st Birthday. He is going to have cake and a big celebration this weekend with family, but today we went out to dinner and he got to open a few gifts. Here are some pictures of Parker celebrating his big day. He even took a few steps too.

We wanted to hold out until my Mom got home from Africa so she could cut Parker's hair, but after a few comments at church we thought maybe it was time to cut the curls. I sure thought it was super cute. So Brooks and I attempted to cut Parker's hair. I think we did okay, not sure Parker enjoyed it much. He looks so grown up now. I think his hair will be long enough again when Mom gets home next month to show us how it is done. Here are some before, during, and after pictures.

This last week Parker has had the opportunity to experience swings. First at our city park with his cousin Maya and second at his Uncle Jeremy's house. He also enjoys the slide too. I am looking forward to summer and trips to the playground.
